Pont3 worked with one of Australia’s fastest growing magazines, Men’s Health Magazine, to develop and implement a national sponsorship strategy that would engage their readers and core target audience in a series of sponsored events that reflect their core brand values.
The strategy included the individual sponsorship of key ocean swim events with the view of creating a series that linked them all together to the benefit of the surf clubs and entrants.
In Year 1 the swims included;
- North Bondi Swim
- Noosa Blue Ocean Swim.
The strategy will be rolled out further in the 2008 – 2009 season to include other major swims.
For Men’s Health Magazine the sponsorships provided a range of benefits, including;
- On popular and busy beaches – signage, marquees and sample stands
- Within event collateral
- To entrants
- To spectators and other beach goers
- Editorial content
- Reader engagement.
